Thierry CANTERO, tenor. Thierry graduated at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Mme Le Bris class. He then studies with the Centre de Formation Lyrique at the Paris National Opera. In 1996, he sings "Gladys" and "Méditerranée" at the Operette Festival in Maurice Island. In 1997, he plays Remendado Remendado in " Carmen " at Paris Théâtre Mogador, as well as in the Trapani Festival (Sicily). He participates at the Saint Céré Festival in Ravel's " L¹Heure Espagnole " (Torquemada), which he performs again under the baton of Jésus Lopez Coboz, as well as at the Chorégies d¹Orange. He gives recitals at the Milan Piccola Scala and creates Isabelle Aboulker's " Monsieur de Balzac fait son théâtre " (Charles Lassailly) at the Tours Grand Théâtre. During the 2001/2002 season, Thierry Cantero was in residence at the Lyon Opera. He makes his debuts at the Nice Opera in March 2004 in Richard Strauss' " Ariadne auf Naxos ".
